Scottsdale, AZ – Shari Rigby, star of “October Baby,” “Overcomer” and “Least of These: The Graham Staines Story,” has joined the Pure Flix team as an ambassador and spokesperson.

As part of her partnership with Pure Flix, Shari will become the first contributor in the Pure Flix Podcast Network with her “The Women In My World” podcast that launched this month. The first episode is already available and a new episode will debut every two weeks, exclusively on the Pure Flix Podcast Network.

“I am so excited to be a part of the Pure Flix family. It is a brand that has obviously been around for a while and I love it and I love the people behind it and I’m thrilled to be a part of it,” she said.

After experiencing obstacles in her acting career, she remembers calling out to the Lord and asking for guidance. And she got her answer: “God spoke to my heart: You’re here for My women. And what I realized was that God was calling me to something much deeper. It was really about serving others and serving those that He called me to.”

As a result, she started The Women In My World in 2010. The group would gather to praise and pray for guidance in their personal and professional lives in Hollywood.

“Why am I so passionate and excited about Pure Flix? Well, God called me to women and I believe that overall, the message from Pure Flix is to women. I’ve been given a voice and an opportunity to share my testimony and my life but also the dreams and prayers that have been answered by God,” she said.
